Tight skirt art page 1

This is the first page devoted to "tight skirt art": drawings of tight-skirted outfits, and other pictures which can't really be classified in the ordinary way. This page was invented at the suggestion of supporter RJS to give a home to the first of the pictures below: too good not to use, but not really suitable for any page I had already. Pictures go on this page if they don't fit anywhere else, so this is their sole home. Each picture will have a caption explaining it as best I can.

This is the English actress and professional English Rose Jane Asher advertising McVities chocolate biscuits. This dress is so much my ideal that I couldn't miss it; but why didn't I put it under Dresses in the ordinary way? We have here a chocolate-coloured dress that looks as if it was painted on: what could be more suitable? It isn't as simple as that. This dress looks painted on because it is painted on, and it's the colour of chocolate because it is chocolate. A "body artist" painted Jane Asher in melted chocolate until he had created a sculptured ballgown; then they photographed her. It's a remarkable achievement and it looks too good to miss out; besides, I can't help feeling that an edible tight dress is an idea that may appeal to some of my readers...

This is an advertisement for easy-pack dresses made or designed (I don't know which) by someone called Möbius. The little lady, who is supposed to be only a few cm high, is illustrating that a full-size dress will pack into the tiny box behind her. Of course, you don't need a very big box for a dress like that...

This is a picture drawn specially for this page by "Ariel" of Australia. It shows a classroom in a finishing school where tight skirts are a compulsory part of the uniform: the girls are being lectured by their teacher on tight skirt theory and practise...
